Senior Citizen Identification Program

MB900293142The Village of Solvay Police Department now offers Senior Citizens  who do not drive, and require photo identification cards that may be used for proof of identify (such as when cashing checks), or proof of age (to receive discounts of goods or services where offered). This is a free program to senior citizens that are village residents.

This card may not be acceptable proof of identity for air travel, so please be sure to inquire with your airline. If you do need a “non-driver’s license” identification card, you will need to obtain one from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.

MB900326576The Identification Cards are issued at the Solvay Police Department, located at 507 Charles Avenue. You must come into the office in person with proof of your residents in the Village of Solvay and have your picture taken for the card. Please contact the Office at (315) 468-2510, Monday-Friday. 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
